Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mapped Out social media management platform and related services (the "Service"), provided by Mapped Out ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Mapped Out provides tools to schedule, publish, manage, and analyze content across third-party social media platforms that you connect to your account.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it as needed. You must be authorized to manage any social media account you connect, including client accounts.

3. Acceptable use

• You will comply with the terms, policies, and community guidelines of every connected social media platform.
• You will not use the Service to publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content, or to send spam.
• You will not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

4. Third-party platforms

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (e.g. Meta/Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google/YouTube, X, Pinterest, Threads). Your use of those platforms through the Service is also subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or actions of those platforms, including the suspension or rejection of content or accounts.

5. Content ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create and publish through the Service. You grant us the limited rights necessary to store, process, and transmit that content to the platforms you connect, solely to provide the Service.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mapped Out will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable platform policies.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
